Terms & Conditions
The rules for using monoboard.
Last updated: August 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using monoboard (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (these "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" refer to both you and that entity.
2. Description of the Service
monoboard is a software-as-a-service platform that connects to your Notion workspace via OAuth, reads your Notion databases, and generates live, embeddable dashboards from your data. The Service includes AI-assisted dashboard creation, data synchronization, filtering, view management, and embedding capabilities.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes to the Service.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use the Service, you must be at least sixteen (16) years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and capable of entering into a binding contract. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payment
We offer a free plan with limited features (one live dashboard) and paid subscription plans with additional features and capacity. The features and pricing of each plan are described on our pricing page and may change from time to time.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payment is processed through our payment service provider (Stripe). You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred under your account.
We may change our fees upon reasonable notice. Price increases will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following at least thirty (30) days' notice. You may cancel before the renewal date to avoid the increased charge. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your subscription.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
Monthly plans. We do not offer refunds for partial monthly billing periods. Unused time on a cancelled monthly subscription is not refunded.
Annual plans. You may request a full refund of an annual subscription within fourteen (14) days of the initial purchase or renewal, provided you have not materially used the Service beyond the free plan limits during that period. After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
Termination by us. If we terminate or suspend your account for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, you will receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for the unused portion of your billing period.
Statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights, nothing in these Terms limits those rights. To exercise a withdrawal right, contact us at admin@monoboard.app.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
- Upload or process data that you do not have the right to access or use;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract source code from the Service;
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically retrieve data from the Service;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service;
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam;
- Access or use the Service without authorization, including bypassing rate limits or security measures;
- Use the Service to store or process data that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access immediately, without notice, if we believe you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy. We may also report violations to law enforcement.
7. Third-Party Integrations and Notion
The Service integrates with Notion via OAuth. When you connect your Notion account, you authorize us to access your Notion workspace with the permissions you grant. You may revoke this access at any time through your Notion settings or your account settings within monoboard.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions to access and process the Notion data you connect to the Service. We process your Notion data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not modify or write to your Notion databases — the Service is read-only with respect to your Notion data.
Your use of Notion is also subject to Notion's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Notion's actions, availability, or policies.
8. Your Content and Data
You retain all ownership rights to the data you connect to the Service, including your Notion database content ("Your Content"). By connecting Your Content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, process, store, copy, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
You represent and warrant that Your Content does not violate any law or third-party right, and that you have all necessary rights and consents to share Your Content with us for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from the Service for analytics, product improvement, and research. Such data does not identify you or your content.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or logos except as expressly permitted.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Service are non-confidential, and we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate. Dashboards and data visualizations generated by the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, financial, legal, or business advice. You should not rely on them as your sole source for decision-making.
Data synced from Notion may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of data sourced from third-party integrations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50) if you have not paid us anything in that period.
The limitations and exclusions in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Content or your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) your Notion data or integration.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon closure, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you cease immediately.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel, unless you are a consumer with a mandatory place of jurisdiction in another country, in which case that jurisdiction applies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
